ADAptations inc. is an Interior Design firm offering a full range of services including but not limited to consulting, interior design and owner’s representative. We specialize in consulting and Accessible Design for consumers with disabilities and those seeking Universally Designed environments for all life’s stages.

Lisa Blanchard, Allied Member ASID, owner and principal designer brings to ADAptations a passion for esthetically pleasing Universal and Accessible Design. With a B.S. in Interior Design, Lisa is articulate in implementing designs and home modifications, has strength in conceptualizing and problem solving, organizational skills, project tracking and budgetary management, to create a cohesive, design process, meeting the unique needs of individual clients.

Education is a very important component of ADAptations' business. The Spirit of Accessibility and Home Modification programs combine instructional videos, interactive workshops, practical exercises, and product information to educate its audience about the most effective and efficient ways to create accessible and Universally Designed environments. ADAptations’ training is known for its highly interactive, hands-on approach: during one of the training's, participants navigate buildings in wheelchairs, simulate blindness, low vision, and hard of hearing to heighten awareness.

ADAptations' client list has included residential and commercial clientele, architects, contractors and builders.  Our firm works closely with design professionals as well as professionals in the health care industry.
